BMW Unveils Jaw-Dropping Concept Speedtop at Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este
BMW Concept Speedtop
The BMW Concept Speedtop is a jaw-dropping shooting brake with unique proportions, limited to 70 units. The reimagined sporty Touring makes its debut at Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in Lake Como and continues the BMW Group’s tradition of displaying some of the most stunning vehicles at the annual show.
Unique profile with incredible proportions
The front of the BMW Concept Speedtop’s design has been crafted to be aggressive and unmistakably BMW. Featuring a dramatic and pronounced V-shape front end with a shark-like nose design, flanked by slim front headlights and an illuminated kidney grille. The design also features a continuous central spine that starts at the front of the bonnet and continues over the roof to the rear spoiler.

To further emphasize the touring profile, the roof features a colour gradient that starts with “Floating Sunstone Maroon” and slowly transitions to “Floating Sundown Silver”.

To further emphasize the sportiness of this touring, the Concept Speedtop features athletic, broad shoulders and elegant two-tone, 14-spoke wheels that have been explicitly designed for the Concept Speedtop.
Interior: Luxurious Craftsmanship
The interior of the Concept Speedtop was designed with a strong focus that is evident even in the most minor details. Traditional brogue-style details accentuate the leather-trimmed surfaces and are used to emphasize the level of craftsmanship used in the 70 vehicles.

The two-tone colour concept on the exterior of the motorcar continues on the interior with the sparkling brown tone of the “Floating Sunstone Maroon”. Inside, the brown “Sundown Maroon” harmonises with the light “Moonstone White” on the seats to create a dramatic and beautiful juxtaposition that is sure to awe every time the door is opened. However, beyond its appearance, the two-tone split is designed to separate the dynamic and functional areas of the interior.
In the headliner is a light beam that mirrors the striking roof spine on the exterior and is meant to provide atmospheric, indirect lighting.

The brogue-style perforations continue in the trunk, which is also lined with leather. The A light beam encompasses the luggage compartment, which is divided into two sections. There is a lower portion meant for multi-day trips and a smaller compartment for everyday luggage above. To celebrate the Concept Speedtop, BMW has partnered with traditional Italian manufacturer Schedoni to create made-to-measure bags that fit perfectly within the luggage compartments using materials that complement the Concept Speedtop.

“"Last year, the presentation of the BMW Concept Skytop at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on Lake Como generated great enthusiasm among connoisseurs and automotive enthusiasts … This led to a strictly limited production run of 50 units. Thanks to this positive response, this year we have decided to also offer the BMW Concept Speedtop in a limited production series of 70 units. This extraordinary vehicle is now available for order. We are pleased to be able to offer collectors and enthusiasts another exclusive model."
