Aston Martin Q has teamed up with Aston Martin Palm Beach to create a one-off, Palm Beach inspired motorcar that draws inspiration from the Florida coastal town.

The Palm Beach Edition DB12 Volante is a collaboration that blends together the best of the renowned British craftsmanship with Palm Beach inspired design themes to celebrate Palm Beach and further elevate the elegance of Aston Martin’s 680PS open-top Super Tourer.

The Aston Martin Palm Beach Edition DB12 Volante draws inspiration from all over Palm Beach, and its exterior is a tribute to oceanic blue, featuring an exclusive Q by Aston Martin Frosted Glass Blue paint. This exclusive paint color showcases incredibly unique techniques that incorporate the use of glass flakes within the topcoat, creating a mesmerizing shimmer effect that perfectly captures the essence of the South Florida sun. To achieve this effect, Aston Martin Q must hand-spray the motorcar due to the complexity and delicate nature of the color. The Volante also features a Club Sport White pinstripe on the front splitters, side sills, and rear bumper. The Palm Beach Edition is completed with Gloss Jet Black diamond-turned five-spoke wheels.

The Aston Martin Palm Beach Edition DB12 Volante is meant to be enjoyed with the top down, and when done so, the nautically inspired duotone colorways are on full display. The motorcar features a bespoke palm-leaf motif throughout the cabin, including on the complementary Aurora Blue and Ivory leather that features Spicy Red contrast stitching.

The seats include palm-inspired embroidery, which extends to the center armrest and door-sill panels. Custom engraved polished aluminum Oalm Beach Edition sill plaques also feature the same palm pattern. The palm motif is not exclusive to the interior as the exterior aluminum side strakes have been milled to reflect the palm-style stripe.

The Aston Martin Palm Beach Edition DB12 Volante features open-pore Linear Light Olive Ash book-matched wood trim and was specifically chosen to emulate the rich texture of palm wood. As an ode to Palm Beach’s coastal location, the motorcar has Palm Beach’s latitude and longitude coordinates embossed onto the leather dashboard. Finally, diagonally book-matched veneers on the rear of the front seats mimic the p motif and include metal inlays with “Palm Beach”.
