Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has revealed the Phantom Dentelle, a unique, one-of-one commission created for a Middle Eastern client as a heartfelt gift for their father. This extraordinary project was realized through the Rolls-Royce Private Office Dubai, an invitation-only atelier where clients collaborate directly with Bespoke designers to bring their visions to life.
Inspired by Timeless Couture Lace
The Phantom Dentelle draws its creative essence from a rare piece of couture lace, meticulously crafted on a Leavers loom. The lace’s three-dimensional floral elements and pearl-like details shaped both the interior and exterior design, resulting in a motor car that blends delicate artistry with automotive excellence.
Interior: A Gallery of Exquisite Embroidery
At the heart of the Phantom Dentelle’s cabin is its Bespoke Gallery, which spans the full width of the dashboard. This exclusive space showcases a floral embroidery masterpiece inspired by the original lace. Using a sophisticated combination of satin stitch, triple-run stitch, and raised accents, Rolls-Royce craftsmen brought to life textures resembling petals, ferns, and intricate lacework.

The Gallery embroidery features over 160,000 stitches in elegant shades of Rose Gold, Sunrise, and Oatmeal. Complementing this, the rear Waterfall section includes an additional 70,000 stitches, harmonizing with the Gallery’s botanical motif. Rose Gold-finished speaker grilles and embroidered ‘RR’ monograms on Sunrise and Grace White leather headrests complete the luxurious interior, accented by refined Piano White veneer.

Phantom Dentelle’s exterior is equally captivating. It wears a sophisticated two-tone Bespoke finish: Crystal over Arctic White for the lower body, and Crystal over Palais Nemasker Dawn—a special color reserved exclusively for this client—for the upper body.
Adding a personal flourish, a hand-painted Sunrise coachline culminates in a delicate motif of a leafy branch adorned with pearl ‘berries’, mirroring the lace-inspired embroidery inside. The car rides on striking 22” Fully Polished Disc wheels with body-colored centers and Arctic White pinstripes. Rose Gold accents—including the Spirit of Ecstasy and engraved treadplates—enhance the elegance of this singular creation.
