Aston Martin releases road images of the Valhalla undergoing final validation sign-off both on-road in the UK as well as on-track outside of Barcelona. Production is set to begin in Q2 of 2025.

Aston Martin has released images of the Valhalla both on the road and on the track to show that its latest hyper car is just as comfortable on the streets as it is on the track. The Podium Green with Lime Green Livery and the Verdant Jade with Valkyrie livery are pictured on the track being driven by Aston Martin’s engineers as well as three-time Le Mans class winner and Aston Martin development driver Darren Turner.

Director of Vehicle Performance and Attributes, Simon Newton was quoted: “For the engineering and dynamics teams, the unprecedented dynamic bandwidth that distinguishes Valhalla from its rivals has presented many new opportunities during development. With a combination of 1079PS and 1100Nm via the hybrid powertrain, extreme performance is a given. To harness

and refine the power to deliver an exceptional supercar experience on both road and track has meant tireless work has gone into the integration of active aerodynamics and integrated control systems.”

The Valhalla is an incredible chapter in Aston Martin’s history as it represents a “first” of many. Including Aston Martin’s first series production mid-engined supercar, first plug-in hybrid, and first production vehicle with dedicated EV range capability. Additionally, the Valhalla marks the marque’s first model to use the bespoke 4.0-litre twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8 engine, which happens to be the highest-performing V8 to be fitted to an Aston Martin. Additionally, the Valhalla is the first to use the marque’s all-new 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), incorporating an e-Motor and electronic rear differential (E-diff). Finally, the Valhalla also has the first application of the all-new front Axel twin motors, which facilitate torque vectoring and contribute to the all-wheel drive system.

All of this incredible technology unlocks 1079PS / 1100Nm PHEV and an electronically limited maximum speed of 350km/h (217mph) and 0-100km/h (62mph) in 2.5 seconds.

The Valhalla is the very definition of a modern-day supercar. It will sit not only in the room with the other great plug-in hybrid supercars but also atop Aston Martin’s own podium of extraordinary motorcars. The Valhalla is limited to 999 units and will begin production in Q2 of 2025.
