Porsche has introduced the 911 Spirit 70, the third installment of the limited-production Heritage Design models. As its name suggests, the Spirit 70 is a modern callback to the 911s of the 1970s.
This latest model in the Heritage Design collection is a celebration of the 1970s and early 1980s and uses cool and interesting designs to celebrate the 911s of the disco era. Only 1,500 models will be produced globally and follows in the footsteps of the stunning 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition and the 911 Sport Classic. The 911 Spirit 70 follows the similar formula but uses the 911 Cerrera GTS Cabriolet with rear-wheel drive as its basis. This means that it includes the high-voltage systems, eTurbo, electric motor and 3.6-litre flat-six engine that develops a total output of 532 hp and 449 lb.-ft of torque.

The 911 is finished in Olive Neo with Sport Classic center locking wheels, 20-inch in the front and 21-inch in the rear, and bear accents in Bronze. Both the cabriolet top and windshield frame are finished in black in order to emphasize the body and wheels further.
Michael Mauer, VP Style Porsche says “The Heritage Design models occupy a special position within our product strategy from a design perspective - The limited-edition sports cars visualize what makes the Porsche brand so special. Every design of our vehicles ties in with our history – and these vehicles go one step further. They show how we reinterpret historical design elements in a state-of-the-art sports car.”

One of the coolest and most unique details is the hood decal that features a trio of decorative stripes that run parallel with the hood. The decals write out “911” in a style similar to the decals used in the 1970s. The decorative stripes also continue onto the cabriolet roof. The 911 Style 70 continues the style of the other Heritage Models by featuring decorative side graphics with Porsche lettering and a Lollipop in Satin Black with an individual start number as a nod to Porsche motorsport heritage.

Another special detail is the Porsche Crest, which is made in the style of the version used in 1963. On the side fenders are gold-plated “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” badges that help to distinguish this model as a limited edition within the Heritage Design product portfolio. At the rear, there is a Porsche Heritage badge on the engine grille where the gold-plated PORSCHE lettering and model designation are visible.

The interior is also incredibly unique and calls back to past models by using exceptional fabric upholstery center inserts featuring black and Ilive Neo Pasha pattern. The pattern features different-sized, intentionally arranged rectangles to create the visual of movement in the pattern, similar to a checkered flag flying in the wind. The only difference between the past and modern Pasha is that the material used now features a combination of textile and flock yarn to create a sporty feel and comfort.

The Pasha pattern is featured on the seat centers of the 18-way Sport Seats Plus, the door panel inserts, and the inside of the glove compartment. The decorative inlays on the seat backrests and dashboard trim are also available in Pasha as a no-cost option. Other interior upholstery includes the Basalt Black Club leather with deviated stitching in Olive Neo.

The interior cluster combines historic design with state-of-the-art technology. It includes a high-resolution 12.65-inch display with white pointers and scale lines in analog format. Green digits are a callback to vintage Porsche sports cars and model lettering integrated into the fully digital tachometer. The same white pointers and green digits extend to the Sport Chrono stopwatch.
