Rolls-Royce Presents Cullinan Daisy
Rolls-Royce Cullinan Daisy
The latest creation from Bespoke arrives just in time for spring and is a one-of-one Black Badge Cullinan Series II that is a reflection of the commissioning client’s love of hiking and the outdoors.
Inspiration is drawn from a field of daisies on the client’s favorite hiking trail in the High Tartas mountains. The design is meant to represent the resilience and perseverance needed to survive and thrive in various conditions.
Exterior
One of the exterior highlights is the daisy flower that appears as a Coachline motif, which is hand-painted to complement the single Coachline applied over the Powder Blue Exterior. The subtle and beautiful colour palette provides a striking and alluring contrast to the darkened Black Badge Pantheon Grille, Spirit of Ecstasy, and exterior brightwork that denote a Black Badge Cullinan Series II.

Interior Suite
Inside, one of the main design highlights is the daisy motif that adorns the front fascia and the waterfall section between the rear seats. In order to create such an effect, the Bespoke team used a sandblasting technique to apply the design to the Blackwood Surface. The wood is subjected to a precision blasting process in which a stream of fine mineral particles is directed at the veneer. The process delicately etches away microscopic surface layers to produce a stunning finish. The results are a dramatic story of light and shadows that play across the design to create a three-dimensional effect.

The Blackwood veneers are complemented by a subtle three-color interior palette that reflects the commission's theme. The primary leather hue is a gorgeous Fleet Blue, which has been extended to the Rotary Controls and the B and C pillars. This hide is complemented by Shelby Grey and Black leathers, featuring Fleet Blue seat piping and Selby Grey contrast stitching and headrest monograms. To complete the Daisy theme, there are Bespoke Illuminated Treadplates with a daisy design.
Bespoke Umbrellas
One of Rolls-Royce's hallmarks has always been the inclusion of an umbrella concealed within the coach doors. For the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Daisy, the concealed umbrella also receives the daisy motif to complete the theme. The pattern has been applied to the interior of the umbrellas to recall the ambience of a daisy field in full bloom on a rainy day.

Bespoke Starlight Headliner
The Bespoke Starlight headliner has been commissioned to display four of the great constellations in the night sky of the northern latitudes: Ursa Major, also know as the Great Bear, the Plough, and the Big Dipper; Ursa Minor, which includes Polaris, or the North Star; Gemini, distinguished by the bright stars, Casto and Pollux; and Taurus, ‘the Bull’, identified by the red giant Aldebaran and the Pleides stat cluster.

Recreation Module
Cullinan Daisy is completed with a Recreation Module - one of Cullinan’s coolest options, an automatically deployable storage compartment mounted on the luggage compartment floor that is designed to house the client’s favorite hiking equipment. Making the Cullinan Daisy the perfect companion for the client’s hiking and outdoor activities that inspired the Rolls-Royce Cullinan Daisy.
Quotes:
“My love for the outdoors has been a driving force behind both my personal passions and professional success. The inspiration for this commission came from a field of daisies on my favourite trail in the High Tatras mountains – a place I return to when I need to clear my thoughts. I’m continuously amazed not only by the beauty but the resilience of this flower that seems to thrive in the face of nature's challenges. I envisioned Cullinan Daisy as a symbol of perseverance – balancing strength with serenity".
Commissioning Client, Cullinan Daisy
“This commission challenged us to explore how natural motifs can be translated through craft and materiality. From the delicately etched Blackwood to the daisy detail hidden inside the umbrellas, we told the client’s remarkable story through unexpected textures and an entirely new palette. Cullinan Daisy is quietly confident, rich in symbolism, yet modern in execution. It also represents a different kind of Bespoke language where emotion is captured through restrained and thoughtful contrasts.”
